VP Mortgage Sales Managaer
Rebecca is at Republic Bank as VP Mortgage Sales Manager. Republic is a local lender out of Louisville and has served the KY market for over 20 years.
I have been doing mortgages now for around 25 years and love using the knowledge I have to help my clients find the best mortgage option available. I will be managing Mortgage Sale for the Central KY and Northern KY markets, but will also do mortgage loans as well.
I have been in the mortgage business since I was 17. I started out working COOP at Clay and Mainous Real Estate Attorneys which turned into Mainous and Grant once Mr. Clay retired. From there, I learned all about real estate titles and closings. I was able to meet a lot of loan officers in that position and from there, I started processing mortgage loans. I processed for about three years and then decided to start my own mortgage company at 23. I ran my mortgage company from 2000-2010. I briefly got out of the mortgage game for about two years, mainly to recharge myself from the housing market crisis of 08. I got back into being a loan officer in 2012 for a small bank and worked there for four years before moving on to a larger local bank that had more loan products for my clients.
I was born and raised in Lexington, KY. I have two amazing kids, Kaitlyn who is 22 and lives in TN and Chase who will be 20 in a couple of months and lives in Lexington. Recently became an empty nester when Chase moved out, so I got a dog to fill the void. Bailey, who loves doing Yoga with me, is to add to the 3 cats, Boopie, Fred and Little Miss and our 65 gallon fish tank!
CertaPro Painters of Lexington
CertaPro Painters has been an excellent opportunity for me. I started working for Steve shortly after he took over this business and we built it together. After a few short years our efforts began to pay off. Not only were we nominated as one of the top 5 CertaPro teams in North America, but I also took home the award for Office Associate of the year. We have worked hard to make our customers experience extraordinary and it has definitely showed! I am thrilled to be the Marketing Manager for CertaPro Painters of Lexington and look forward to seeing what the future holds for us.
I live in the Lexington area with my husband and two children. Prior to working at CertaPro Painters, I worked part time as an administrative assistant for Scott Appraisals where I performed market research and administrative duties. Along with Scott Appraisals I was a stay at home mom and raised my two children. Previously, I was in the mortgage industry as an outside sales representative selling mortgage loans to lenders. My previous work experience has shown me the importance of organization and developing a rapport with clients and customers.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children play sports, vacationing and volunteering at our local church.
Working at CertaPro Painters is very fulfilling. We are a faith company that prides ourselves in providing a quality service and taking pride in customer satisfaction.

that all is not lost. Our community is smart, our bodies are smart, and by my being available and listening, educating and sharing - a spark is flamed.
Consistently I hear that they didn't know the gravity of Chiropractic Care and that it was for them and their children.
So, I continue meeting people where they are - at local festivals, through hosting Corporate Wellness events,
Sorority/Fraternity meetings, Sports Teams practices, Ministry Groups gatherings, backyard BBQ's, you name it!
Through Education and Adjustments our community is waking up. Revive is helping people discover and reach their full potential, once unforeseen due to chronic pain, medication and hopelessness."

Dogwood Home Furnishings
I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and attended East Carolina University as an art major. My family has manufactures some of the world’s most beautiful and sought-after furniture. It is made in High Point, NC, “The Furniture Capital of the World”. They have been in business for over 70+ years. The company is still family owned and in business. As a result of this life I love being surrounded by beautiful things, it is comforting to me. One of the benefits of growing up around furniture manufacturing is that it has allowed me to soak up a base of knowledge that is not common. Shortly after college I embarked on a bit of travel. I flew for an airline for 13 years until my husband I started a company of our own. We created outdoor living furniture and garden décor. Only when we moved here did we close it after 22 years. Design, color and imagination are a part of who I am.
Did I say how much I love Lexington! Scott has been bringing me here for our whole life together. I love the town, the culture, the CATS, the horse industry and living here. We came as semi-retired and I embarked on following some of my passions painting, reading and decorating my home. However, it was not enough, I was feeling unfulfilled. Dogwood Home Furnishings was born out of my need to be creative. My husband and I decided to bring quality American-made upholstered furniture to Lexington. Our unique combination of knowledge, skills and connections have worked. We always seek to work with individuals as clients and the design community. I know the value designers bring to a client and I want to work in partnership with them. I have lots of connections in the furniture world and I love sourcing goods.
Scott and I have recently celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. We met and were married in 90 days. We have been working together for 24 years, we are a team. Our life includes two grown sons, Colton who trains all disciplines of horses here in the Lexington area. He is married and we enjoy watching them create a life together mirrored after ours as business owners of their own. Our other son Tyler still resides in High Point and is following his own passions.
My motto for my life is “the art of living beautifully”. I hope to help others find their style and create a beautiful space that allows them to live beautifully.
We invite you to come in and experience Dogwood Home Furnishings.
