Stephanie began her career as a CNA during her sophomore year of high school, working alongside her grandmother—an experience she will cherish for the rest of her life. After graduating, she earned her Phlebotomy license and began working at the local hospital, where she enjoyed every moment of caring for patients.

When she later moved to South Carolina, her license was no longer valid, prompting her to explore new opportunities. However, none provided the same fulfillment as caring for others. Upon relocating to Kentucky, Stephanie began providing in‐home, private-pay care for a wonderful couple, with whom she remained for seven years. Their passing was incredibly difficult for her, leading her to step away from caregiving and pursue bartending for a few years.

Still, she felt a persistent pull back to her true calling. When she joined the Aging with Grace organization, Stephanie began in our At Home Health Help Division, and although she had only one client, the level of compassion, professionalism, and dedication she brought was truly exceptional.

After her client transitioned to a nursing home, Stephanie was promoted to Assistant Outreach Director. In this role, she actively connects with community partners, potential clients, and prospective employees, representing the Aging With Grace company with integrity and enthusiasm.

Even in her expanded role, Stephanie continues to follow her passion for helping the elderly and anyone in need of care or support. She remains an invaluable part of our team, embodying both heart and professionalism in everything she does.

A native Lexingtonian, Jenny brings over 9 years of deep industry experience and a signature blend of "heart and hustle" to the local residential construction scene. Having spent years specializing in flooring sales and design consulting, she has transitioned her expertise into her role as a Residential Construction Estimator. Jenny specializes in precise measuring, transparent costing, and seamless project coordination, ensuring every renovation is budget-conscious and stress-free from day one. She loves partnering with homeowners to make their home in their dream home, overseeing projects from start to finish to ensure absolute satisfaction.

When she isn’t helping clients build their dreams, Jenny is a proud mom who loves spending quality time with her 12-year-old son, and fur babies and engaging with her local Lexington community.

Meet Lisa McKinney, Silver Lexington's newest local senior living specialist.  Lisa has teamed up with veteran placement experts Susan and Amber as they assist families in finding the most appropriate communities for their loved ones based on care needs, budget and location.

Raised in Louisville and a graduate of Georgetown College, Lisa’s professional foundation was built in Lexington during her many years at the Alzheimer’s Association, where she led communication and legislative advocacy efforts to support those affected by dementia. It was there that she first met—and fell in love with—Amber and Susan.

Following a personal journey as a caregiver for her own parents and having to navigate their move to independent living, Lisa experienced the overwhelming complexities so many families face during this type of transition and decided to pivot her career path. After four years as a project manager for a local senior move management company, she has now joined forces with her longtime friends and colleagues to provide the compassionate, expert guidance she once sought for her own family. When she’s not helping seniors and their families, you can find her helping plan the Friends of the Lexington Senior Center Gala or spreading holiday cheer in the "sleigh" for Silver Leington’s annual Christmas parade alongside her husband (Santa himself!).

Lori Wagner is a nationally board-certified Acute Care and Adult Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of clinical experience. A retired U.S. Navy Nurse Corps veteran, she has practiced in civilian and military hospitals, cruise ships, mobile units, and global medical outreaches, blending rigorous clinical expertise a compassionate approach to wellness.

Lori founded one of the first Nurse Practitioner-owned primary care clinics. Her current practice, JoyRich Medical, honors the legacy of her parents, Joy and Richard. Lori transitioned the clinic into an exclusive concierge membership model to bypass traditional medical constraints, ensuring highly individualized, unhurried, and comprehensive care.

Lori specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), addiction recovery, advanced IV nutritional therapies, thyroid health, and other modalities for total wellness.

Combining cutting-edge medical science with personalized strategies and a foundation as a Christ follower, she empowers her patients to optimize their health, reclaim their vitality, and thrive at every stage of life.

When Lori is not at the office she is at cross-fit, or home with family and friends.

Gina is a Benefits Advisor at Aflac. This is an exciting new career path for Gina, but she has worked in the business world for over thirty years in various roles. She has held positions in Leadership, Talent Acquisition and Training, Event Planning, Personal Training/Nutrition Coaching, business ownership, and worked with children and adults with intellectual disabilities. In her position with Aflac, she helps employers attract and retain employees by offering affordable supplemental benefits. She can work with companies of all sizes. Anywhere from three employees all the way to thousands of employees. These benefits are all employee-paid (unless the employer chooses to contribute). She handles all the logistics, so employers don’t have to add anything to their daily workload.

Gina is from Lexington and has an adult son and daughter-in-law, as well as an adorable chocolate lab named Lola. Outside of work, Gina enjoys working out, any outdoor activity, sporting events, checking out new restaurants, travel, creative writing, empowering other women, and live music.

Melissa owns Alsip Designs, a furniture design company. She has been designing and creating custom furniture for more than 23 years.

Originally from Mt. Sterling, KY, Melissa has lived in Lexington since attending the University of Kentucky. She earned her degree in Chemistry in 1994. After working (and burning out) in the chemistry research industry for 10 years, she decided to start her own business. An avid fan of HGTV home improvement and design shows, Melissa started a construction company specializing in woodworking, painting and tiling.

She successfully ran her construction company for 13 years before starting to experience back problems. In 2018, she shifted her focus to design while keeping the furniture design and creation portion as the main service. Melissa loves working with her clients to create unique high quality pieces that are not only beautiful but functional.

Melissa has been married to her husband Mark since 2014. They have no children or pets but enjoy time with their many nieces and nephews.  They love to travel and often spend their time photographing scenery, landscapes and architecture wherever they visit. Melissa enjoys reading and is happiest on a sunny beach with a good book. Some of her other interests are cooking, baking, spending time with friends and any artistic endeavor that allows her to create.

Tanya Peters was born and raised in Minnesota and relocated to Kentucky in 2009. She has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to build something meaningful that serves others. Alongside her husband, Jim, she co-owns APEX Driving School—an organization they launched in response to a clear need to invest in the safety, confidence, and preparedness of new drivers in their community.

APEX Driving School offers professional driving lessons, classroom education, and Parent Awareness classes designed to equip both students and families with the tools necessary for long-term road safety. Tanya is a Certified Driving Instructor who focuses on operational excellence, instructor development, and the creation of structured, high-impact programs that elevate the standard of driver education.

In addition to her business leadership, Tanya has a background in ministry, which has shaped her heart for service, mentorship, and community impact.

Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, bowling, playing games, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is also a proud mom of three grown children and “YaYa” to three grandsons.

Annabelle Leskinen is the Development Coordinator with Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore. She focuses on building partnerships with local businesses and community members to secure donations of furniture, home décor, and building materials. These contributions help keep reusable items out of landfills while directly supporting affordable housing in our community.

She is always looking to connect with businesses that may have overstock, gently used furniture, or home goods to donate. Such as hotels, property managers, home stagers, remodelers, furniture stores, and anyone in the hospitality or real estate industries. If you know someone who manages inventory, renovations, or furnishings, that’s a great referral for her!

Outside of work, she is always on the go looking for fun adventures. Whether it's exploring a new local spot, spending time outdoors, or finding creative ways to unwind.

Jennifer is an Account Executive with Lamar Advertising. She joined Lamar Advertising one year ago, bringing with her more than 28 years of experience in the health care industry, where she partnered with health systems across the U.S.

As an Account Executive with Lamar Advertising, Jennifer works with companies of all sizes to grow their brand through outdoor advertising. She guides clients through the advertising process—site selection, messaging, campaign timing, and budgeting—using market knowledge, traffic data, and creative opportunities.

Jennifer is a proud mother of two daughters, MacKenzie and Addison. MacKenzie is in her second year of medical school at the University of Kentucky, and Addison is a junior at Madison Central and an active volleyball player. Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends—especially when she’s hosting—and starts most mornings at the gym with MacKenzie, something she truly loves.

Helping others thrive and be successful is one of Jennifer’s greatest passions.

Savannah Brunty is a Sales and Marketing Representative for SERVPRO Team Phillips/Smith. 

She earned her Business Marketing degree from Eastern Kentucky University and has a genuine passion for networking, relationship building, and helping others find solutions when they need them most.

Julie is an elder millennial, a proud swiftie and an extra, extra, extrovert. A creative since high school, she found graphic design through working at Alltech during the 2010 and 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. 

Through working in marketing for 20 years, and building a a cake brand, she’s become an expert in branding and found her passion: working with clients to get results and help them find their sparkle! 

She’s a mom to Delaney, wife to Ben and pet parent to Coda, who is in training to be an Allergen Detection Service Dog for Delaney, who has a peanut allergy. Delaney plays trombone at Jessie Clark Middle School and goes to the driving range with her dad in her free time.
